I used to use the roblox side of fandom wiki but since roblox deleted my scc I decided it would be fun to play animal jam since I used to play it when I was younger. Has anyone got any tips in animal jam for me or advice?

Go to the AJIWW. The people over there can help you, and I think it is more active then this wiki. And, don't trust people in animal jam. There are way too many hackers and scammers. Don't beg, that annoys people. Don't think bears are worth den betas, they are worth good short collars, no matter what someone tells you. Don't believe people who say they got hacked or scammed, they may just want items. If you get scammed, don't go ask for items. It would be your fault that you got scammed. Don't lowball, and don't accept lowballs. If you want membership, go for it. AJHQ pays no attention to AJC, so don't expect any new animal/pets. Good ways to get rims is in a plushie shop. Most items are member. The community can be dang toxic. The Pillow Room is full of drama, Brady's is a trading outlet, and the Juice Hut is a combination. Get rid of Chocolate4froggy and hyenine1 mps. The underwater lands are dead. Adventures are fun, but not many people play them. Tfd is a good one, but only for members. DON'T TRUST ANYONE WHO TELLS YOU TO LOG INTO ANOTHER WEBSITE. ONLY LOG INTO THE GAME ITSELF. Don't put your password anywhere, don't tell anyone, or you will get hacked. Also, people are gonna ask you to sign a "Petition" to remove trading so that way it is "More like the animal jam the had when they were younger" where you couldn't trade.
Hello and welcome to the wiki!
Yep, welcome to the wiki! Hope you have a good time here.

It is also important to remember that your experience on AJ Classic does not necessarily have to be centered around trading. Here are some things you can start by doing that do not involve trading:
Playing games
Completing the Journey Book
Playing adventures
Working towards achievements
Reading minibooks
Watching videos (from Brady's Theater, Tierney's Theater, Sarepia Theater, or the Wild Explorers Tent)
Making masterpieces
Attending parties
Entering codes
In addition to all the advice Slytheine2 provided above, here are some more things to consider if you do decide to trade:
Many traders have already agreed on the value (or worth) for many items in the game. The AJ Item Worth Wiki attempts to aggregate these worths and many players rely on the site to determine the value of a certain item. I'm telling you this just so that you can be aware; I'm not necessarily endorsing or opposing the worths listed on the wiki since item worth is subjective and can be difficult to determine.
Be careful to avoid scams. Do not trust strangers (or even buddies) who say they will give you an item if you give them your item first. Always trade directly for the items you want to have to avoid getting scammed. In addition, many Jammers may attempt to make an item seem more valuable than it is actually worth. This seems to happen a lot with in store items or promo items, so you should always look up where items originate from. There are likely more scams that you should avoid but I can't name any others off the top of my head.
Follow basic account security measures. Use a secure password and do not give it away to anyone. Many players end up getting hacked because they gave away their password to a friend or a site that promises to give free membership. You should also connect your account to a parent dashboard. Not only will you get a gem bonus, but also you will have better control over your account (such as locking your account, changing the password, checking login times, etc). The AJ Item Worth Wiki has a more comprehensive account safety guide if you want to know more.
