(or to help them gain items for when they become members)
I'm thinking about setting up a system where nonmembers could obtain member rims and member wild weekend items that they could use to gain rarity, inspired by Flyingmaster's rare distribution system.
The basic idea would be that nonmembers could register and then reply a request for items under a post (not this post, as this is just the concept) to request member rims and wild weekend items.
Some problems with this idea:
I currently have about 27,000 gems. I doubt it will last very long if i decide to go forward with this idea, especially if many people end up requesting
Some solutions to sustain the system:
Limit the gem amount for each person. I'm currently thinking around 5000 gems/week, 10 diamonds/wild weekend. But i need to know how many people might register, so please reply if u'r a nonmember and might request stuff IF i end up organizing this thing.
A donation system: accept donations (not required) to help sustain the system. Donations would be items that could be recycled for gems and have a really low worth. For example, shop items, trashy items won from adventure passages or sky high, plushies, trashy items won from the claw, and adventure items that have really low demand (for example, phantom furnaces and fortress footsteps). To prevent me from accidentally using these gems for my own projects, these items would be stored in an alt instead of immediately recycled. When i needed them for a request, i'd calculate the amount needed, trade it back to main, recycle, then buy the stuff and trade the stuff to the requester.
Have nonmembers pay via silver bars. I'm not a fan of this option, as I don't want to force payment nor waste peoples' gems. However, if i run out of gems this might temporarily happen until i find a way to sustain.
Have other people help. If any willing, please reply.
