Why does nobody reply/post anymore?
so im from the play wild item worth wiki and i just wanted to let you all know that there may be a troller coming here, it wasn’t too bad because all they did was make a bunch of random posts with random things. they didn’t send anything bad or stuff like that, just letting you know because once they said bye they said they were heading for other animal jam related wikis.
they go by the name of autumstars or something, but i don’t know if they’ll troll with a different account.
just letting you all know, bye!

I found a vandal. You probably noticed them saying “(very bad word) THIS FANDOM” and posting not-safe-for-work images. Is there a way to make discussions staff only? Pls and thank you!

SPEAK PEOPLE. SPEAK.
For more information on FandomDesktop, see this blog post on Community Central.
Recently, Fandom allowed users to opt into the new FandomDesktop skin; this can be done by navigating to the FandomDesktop option located in the Appearance tab under "My Preferences." Additionally, Fandom also allowed wiki admins to be able to customize their wiki's appearance for the new skin. Because FandomDesktop provides both light and dark mode, the wiki must set different colors for each mode. Here are what the wiki colors look like so far:
(a * indicates that the setting is not included in the current wiki theme)
Light Mode (default)
Background Image: File:Wiki-background - This image is located on the top of the background. It will be changed depending on the season
*Community background color: #047607 (dark green) - This is the color that shows up in the background below the background image. I plan to change this color whenever the background is changed so that they match
*Sticky nav background color: #337800 (green) - The sticky nav is the navbar at the top that shows up as you scroll down the page. The color will be used as the background for the nav
*Headings font: Rubik
*Accent color: #337800 (green) - I believe that this color controls the toolbar at the very bottom as well as the infobox colors
Link color: #337800 (green) - This color is used for links and other clickable elements on the wiki
Article background color: #cebe8a (beige) - This color is used for the background on articles and pages

Dark Mode
Background Image:
I decided to use a different image for dark mode because I felt that it suited the color theme better. However, I am open to changing the background for dark mode.
*Community background color: #000000 (black)
*Sticky nav background color: #337800 (green)
*Headings font: Rubik
*Accent color: #337800 (green)
*Link color: #337800 (green)
Article background color: #0d1611 (dark teal-gray)

Questions for you:
You don't have to answer all of them, though it would be helpful for me personally if you could answer as many as possible.
Light mode
Should we continue to use the current seasonal background images or change them? The reason why I ask this is because the images now only show up on the top part of the background rather than the entire background.
Should we use other colors for the sticky nav and accent (instead of just green)?
Any other proposed changes?

Trading pet codes is now prohibited on this wiki.
I've been noticing lately that some users have been asking to trade for pet codes in the comments section. Rule 7A of our User Conduct Policy states that "Attempts to defraud AJ Classic Wiki community members of real or virtual goods is considered uncivil behavior and grounds for immediate blocking." This rule also prohibits account trading, membership trading, and cross-trading between non-Animal Jam games, but it does not say anything about trading pet codes. So my question to you is, should the wiki prohibit trading pet codes?
Non-AJ Art Commissions will still be allowed on the Animal Jam Classic Wiki.
Commissions are a way for one user to give some form of "payment" to another for in-game Masterpieces or artwork out of the game.
Non-AJ art would be considered anything that you cannot trade for using the in-game trade system.
Recently, WildWorks stated that it is against their TOS and confirmed that on Instagram.
Opinions Needed
Should we allow non-AJ art commissions on this wiki?
(If said no to #1) Should we allow in-game art commissions on this wiki?
I'm not sure if you're active on here, but seeing as you're an admin I guess you are.
Anyways, the wiki that I am admin on, the Animal Jam Users Wiki, is looking for partners. Would you like to partner with our wiki? The link is down below if you'd like to look into it more.

For the submissions, see [Discussion] Wordmark Contest.
For the previous vote, see [Vote] New Wiki Logo.
The Vote: What should be the wiki's current wordmark/logo?
How voting works: The previous voting thread allowed users to vote on their favorite submissions, but because none of the wordmarks reached a 60% majority, this run-off vote has been created for the top two most popular wordmarks.
Voting choices:
#1
#2
How to vote: Please respond once to this thread with the number of your favorite wordmark. You do not need to provide a reason and you may vote for both wordmarks if you so wish.
Be mindful that you must have joined the wiki at least 14 days ago in order to vote, per our Voting Policy.
For the discussion thread, see [Discussion] Cross Trading.
The vote has passed (75%) with 8 votes supporting (66.67%), 2 votes neutral (16.67%), and 2 votes opposed (16.67%).
In 2019, the wiki vote to prohibit all cross trading did not pass, meaning all cross trading discussions are currently permitted on the wiki. However, in the discussion thread, opinions were divided on whether there should be cross trading discussions involving non-Animal Jam games. This vote aims to specify which types of cross trading should be permitted/forbidden on the wiki.
The vote: Should the wiki prohibit cross trading discussions involving games that are not Animal Jam Classic or Animal Jam (Play Wild)?
Support means any cross trading discussions involving games besides AJ Classic and Animal Jam (Play Wild) will be deleted and all future users participating in such activity will be warned.
Oppose means all cross trading discussions on this wiki will remain visible and will not be deleted.
Neutral means you are either unsure or have no preference on the outcome of the vote.
Q&A
What is cross trading? - Cross trading is when a player gives another player an item in return for another item on a separate game. In order for such an exchange to take place, one player must go first and give their item(s) to the other player, followed by the other player giving their item(s) on the other game. The exchange can alternatively be facilitated by a trusted "middle man" whom both players give their items to with the expectation that the middle man will pass along the appropriate items to each player.
What are the downsides to cross trading? - There is no 100% secure way to cross trade between AJ Classic and other games. Because one player must go first to cross trade, that player is at a risk to get scammed if the other player does not give the items agreed upon in the arrangement. Even with a middle man, it is still possible for the middle man to take the items the players give and not return them accordingly.
What are examples of cross trading discussions that would be prohibited? - Most commonly, I see users attempting to cross trade between Animal Jam Classic and Roblox. Another possibility is between AJ Classic and Feral. If the vote were to pass, both of these discussions would be prohibited. In addition, any cross trading discussions involving Animal Jam (Play Wild) and a game that is not AJ Classic would not be allowed either.
How to vote: Please clearly respond once with either support, oppose, or neutral and give a reason for your vote. Be mindful that you must have joined the wiki at least 14 days ago in order to vote, per our Voting Policy.
