The 1st Birthday Cake is a non-member den item that was first available on September 1, 2011. It was formerly a promo gift that was obtained from the code ajbday, but this code has since expired.
Appearance
The 1st Birthday Cake is a round, tiered chocolate birthday cake that has thick chocolate frosting covering the tops and lime green swirls around the sides. Each tier rests on a pale yellow plate and there is a lit, pale-golden-yellow candle shaped like a number "1" that is placed on the very top, with a fading color that slowly gets lighter towards the flame. This item only comes in one variety.

- The mobile app Animal Jam - Play Wild! has a similar 1st Birthday Cake item.
- If the player clicks on the candle flame, the cake goes up in flames and disappears, then the cake comes back.
- This is one of the very few den items that cannot be flipped or rotated.
