Chests are a common gameplay element in Animal Jam Classic. They appear most commonly in Adventures and in a few other places around Jamaa. Their purpose is to reward the player with some kind of 'treasure' usually after a goal has been accomplished; an example of this is completing an adventure, finding and opening Ground Chests in adventures, or getting a gift from Peck during the tutorial stage.
Appearance
They appear to be a wooden chest with gold trim and a shiny blue gemstone above their key hole; around the blue gemstone is what appears to be golden wings on either side or a golden bird. When clicked, the chest will burst open, revealing that the inside of the lock is shaped like Zios. The bottom of the chest is decorated with studs.

These are Chests which are placed on an Adventure map; if encountered, they will have a Paw Icon floating above them indicating that they can be interacted with. A splash screen will appear upon being clicked, waiting for the player to click the Chest and claim their reward.

When completing Return of the Phantoms.
Once a specific task in an adventure is completed, a splash screen will appear displaying five chests. Once a chest is picked, the player can choose to 'Keep' or 'Discard' their prize.
