Hatapalooza is a recurring event that revolves around hat clothing accessories. It was first introduced on January 17, 2013, and it typically lasts for two weeks. Its second appearance was on July 10, 2014, followed by a third on May 26, 2016, and then a fourth appearance on May 4, 2017.

This event revolves around either the Hat Shops, the hat sale, or both depending on the year. The Hat Shops are small carts that appear in various lands around Jamaa. These carts changed location from their first appearance in 2013 to their most recent appearance in 2017. However, the carts were not included as part of the 2014 and 2016 celebrations. The hat sale simply reduces the price of every hat item that is currently sold. This sale was used in the 2014, 2016, and 2017 celebrations, but it was not included in the first celebration during 2013.

- The first Hat Shops in 2013 were located in Mt. Shiveer, Sarepia Forest, and the Canyons Pathway.
- The Hat Shops were relocated to Jamaa Township, Coral Canyons, and Crystal Sands when they returned in 2017.
- In addition to the standard items, the first Hat Shops in 2013 sold rare hats for one day only on certain days.
- During the first Hatapalooza in January 2013, the Rare Item Monday releases were also hats. The Rare Fancy Top Hat was sold on January 21 and the Rare Cowboy Hat was sold on January 28.
- This event is similar to the Denstravaganza and Alphamania, two other sale events.
