The Pet Platypus is a members-only land and underwater pet. It was released on May 14, 2017, and can be hatched from a Pet Egg sold from various locations around Jamaa.

Appearance

It is an infantile looking platypus with a bill similar to that of a duck's, as well as a tail like that of a beaver's. It has short stubby feet that are somewhat visible.

Action	Description
	It does a tail-flip in midair.
	It sits down while still on all four legs.
	It pulls out a banjo and plays visible tunes.
	Twists left and right while moving its tail up and down.
	It sleeps like any other pet with Z's emitted.
	It hops up and down on all four legs.

	Golden Crown	The platypus gets a mini golden crown with a green jewel on the top of its head.
	Bunny Ears	Rectangular ears that take on the color of the pet's back, but has pink inside them. One ear is tilted toward the front of the animal, and is behind its tuft of hair.
	Lightning Antenna	Two zig-zagged yellow bolts that are jagged in the middle so the top is before the bottom of the lightning.
	Big Tuft	A tuft of fur that is on the platypus's head.

	Viking Helmet	A light brown hat with two white horns that covers half of the head of the platypus.
	Leaf Hat	A heart-shaped leaf that rests on the head of the platypus with a curly stem and small leaf.
	Bow	A bow that is similar to the pet's colors with two loops and round center that rests on the side of the head.
	Spiked Collar	A plain spiked collar in a similar color as the bow that rests just after the first foot.

	Wings	Plain white angel wings with three feathers and a colored swirl that rest on the end of the back.
	Leaf Skirt	Belt has an orange and reddish-brown zig-zag pattern, and the leaves are light green with dark green veins. Item is in front of back feet.
	Patches	A button eye with an x in it, a pink blush after that, and three stitches surrounding the face. A lighter patch (the color of the pet's face) and three stitches surrounding that on the pet's back. Another patch on the pet's side, also with three stitches, and a darker patch on the pet's tail that has three stitches on it.
	Stripes	Two dark bands crossing vertically on the pet's back.

	Pineapple Hat	The hat appears to be the top half of a pineapple with leaves on the bottom of it.
	Shark Hat	This hat covers up the whole head of the platypus with its eye and mouth visible.
	Water Lilly	A pink star-shaped flower with a darker pink star inside and a yellow dot at the center. Appears on the side of the top of its head, above the front foot.

	Goggles and Snorkel	The goggles are on the platypus's eye and the snorkel goes behind the bill.
	Lipstick	Bright red lipstick that is in the middle of the Platypus' bill.
	Unicorn Horn	Long yellow horn on the front of the head with pale yellow stripes that are slanted to the left curling up it.
	Snapper Beak	Yellow parrot-like beak with three jagged edges on top and two on the bottom with a pink tongue in the back. Replaces the pet's original bill.

	Skirt	Pink waist with a zig-zag edge. Light and dark green striped pattern juts across the skirt.
	Float	Pink and with a striped float that goes in front of back feet.
	Shark Fin	Fin takes on the body color of the pet and takes up the whole back of it.

Trivia

• This was the first pet to be hatched from an egg besides one of the original three (Falcon, Chick, and Crocodile).
• This pet is the only Eggstravaganza pet that can go underwater.
• This pet is 1 of 2 Eggstravaganza pets to be mammals (monotremes), the other being the Echidna.
• Like the Pet Firefly, when it was first released, there was a glitch where the screen for the Pet Stop turned black, preventing the pet from being customized. As of May 17th, 2017, it has been fixed.
• An underwater head and neck accessory, the lipstick, could suggest that a platypus has lips. However, platypuses don't have lips.
