Appearance[]
The Guyana flag has a pattern of overlapping triangles that extend from the left side across to the right. The first triangle is red and bordered by a thin stripe of black. The second triangle extends underneath the first all the way to the left edge of the flag and has a yellow color bordered by a thin stripe of white. The remaining uncovered portion of the flag is a solid green color. This item comes in only one variety.

Trivia[]
- The flag of South Africa has a similar collection of colors, but it also includes blue and the pattern is different.
- The use of a red triangle extending from the left side is also seen in the Cuba flag as well as the Jordan flag.
- The colors in the flag have symbolic meaning where red, black, green, white, and yellow are representative of zeal and dynamism, endurance, agriculture and the forests, rivers and water, and mineral wealth respectively.
