An example of the pop-up when items are recovered
The Item Recovery system was introduced in July 2016 to help AJHQ return lost items to Jammers. It is used in certain circumstances when a Jammer falls victim to a scam or other incidents that may result in lost items. Prior to this system, AJHQ would return each item individually through Jam-A-Grams.
Limitations[]
When introduced on The Daily Explorer, AJHQ stated that this feature "is a One Time Only courtesy for an account and is done at our discretion." This means that not all scamming cases will be resolved by returning a Jammer's lost items. It was also stated that Headdresses and other items that have been declared "discontinued" or otherwise removed from the game would not be returned. Another limitation AJHQ imposed was to not return items for old scamming cases, but they did not clarify how recent the cases must be in order to have them returned.
Glitched Items[]
In the process of returning lost items, it is rumored some Jammers have received "glitched" fully magenta versions of their lost items. This was confirmed to be true by AJHQ on May 26, 2016.
Trivia[]
- There was initially a glitch with the item recovery system where Jam-A-Grams sent with a particular card would result in their gift being sent through the item recovery system instead of the normal gifting system.
- Despite AJHQ's claims that they would not return Headdresses, some Jammers had their Headdresses returned in March 2017 when a game exploit in the Trading system was abused by others to steal them.
