The Lemur is a members-only land animal.

Default Appearance[]

The lemur is small with a large head, large tail, and large eyes. The default colors on the lemur consist of a blue back, blue arms, blue legs, blue stripes on the tail, and a dark blue face with large black and pink eyes, while the remainder of the animal is white.

Acts	Description
	Sits a bit straight, with its paws in front.
	Hops and spins until it lands on the ground.
	Curls into a ball and sleeps.
	Hops like its skipping.
	Tail spins, causing it to go into a fast tornado. Items worn on the lemur can be seen spinning, and the colors of the lemur are the primary and secondary colors of the tornado.

The Lemur was initially released on September 15, 2016, in the Diamond Shop. It was most recently released on April 3, 2025, in the Diamond Shop.

Trivia[]

It's release was hinted at on August 18, 2016, and it was officially announced on September 1, 2016.
- The hint given was a woodcarving of Madagascar, which is the area where lemurs are native to.
Lemurs were released on Play Wild before they were released on Animal Jam Classic.
The Lemur has a chain of plushies. They are the Lemur Plushie and the Giant Lemur Plushie.
On September 9, 2016, AJHQ released "Leaf It To Me", an animated short featuring Lemurs. They also updated the front page of Jamaa Journal Volume 180 on the same day to include the short.
Its "play" action is a possible reference to Tasmanian Devil.

Glitches[]

If a Lemur wore Bamboo Wings, the wings would be yellow and green Homemade Wings. It was the same if it wears Homemade Wings, they would turn into green Bamboo Wings when moving. This was later patched.
When a Lemur wears the Mira Hat, it will not show up on the player card.
Originally, when a Lemur wore the Gold Ring or Silver Ring, the sparkles would be magenta instead of the usual Silver and Gold sparkles. This was later patched.
When wearing the Silver And Gold Elf Tail Armor, the item appears stretched on the Lemur's tail.
The Raccoon Tail, Rare Raccoon Tail, and Raccoon Tail (2018) appear darker on the Lemur.
When wearing any balloon item, such as the Phantom Balloon or Zios Balloon, initiating the "play" action will cause the item to flip around and immediately snap back to the front.
