The Lemur is a members-only land animal that was first released on September 15, 2016 in the Diamond Shop. It first hinted at on August 18, 2016, and it was officially announced on September 1, 2016. It went on clearance on November 30, 2017. Later, it returned on May 11, 2020, and left stores on July 30, 2020. It returned again on April 1, 2021, but left on July 2, 2021.

Default Appearance

The lemur is small with a large head, large tail, and large eyes. The default colors on the lemur consist of a blue back, blue arms, blue legs, blue stripes on the tail, and a dark blue face with large black and pink eyes, while the remainder of the animal is white.

Actions

Acts	Description
	Sits a bit straight, with its paws in front.
	Hops and spins until it lands on the ground.
	Curls into a ball and sleeps.
	Hops like its skipping.
	Tail spins, causing it to go into a fast tornado. Items worn on the lemur can be seen spinning, and the colors of the lemur are the primary and secondary colors of the tornado.

Trivia

It was a part of the Artist's Dream Bundle in July 2018, and in November 2019 as part of the Rags to Riches Bundle.
The hint given was a woodcarving of Madagascar, which is the area where lemurs are native to.
Lemurs were released on Play Wild before they were released on Animal Jam Classic.
The Lemur has a chain of plushies. They are the Lemur Plushie and the Giant Lemur Plushie.
On September 9, 2016, AJHQ released "Leaf It To Me", an animated short featuring Lemurs. They also updated the front page of Jamaa Journal Volume 180 on the same day to include the short.
Its "play" action is a possible reference to Tasmanian Devil.
If a lemur wears Bamboo Wings, the wings will be yellow and green Homemade Wings. It is the same if it wears Homemade Wings, they turn into green Bamboo Wings when moving.
When a lemur is wearing a Mira hat, it will not show up on the player card.
When a lemur wears the Gold Ring or the Silver Ring, the sparkles show up in magenta instead of the usual Silver and Gold sparkles.
