The Octopus has a dark-pink color with a large, oval-shaped head and 8 small, short tentacles. It has large and flat black eyes and a light-pink underside with light pink colored suction cups.

History[]
The Octopus was initially released on March 29, 2012, in the "Choose an Animal" menu and returned during the spring months. It was most recently released on June 1, 2019, as a promotional gift from the World Oceans Bundle and left on June 30, 2019.

Trivia[]
- The octopus is the only invertebrate animal in Animal Jam Classic.
- It is one of only eight underwater animals that are playable in the game.
- In the Animal Jam Summer Box 2017, it featured a purple octopus stuffed animal with green flowers.
- On March 15, 2018, it was given a pet version called the Pet Octopus.
