The Pottery selection screen

The Pottery activity is a feature that allows Jammers to color a black-and-white, line-art picture of pottery. It was first introduced at the same time as Coral Canyons on September 9, 2010. This activity can only be found in the Art Studio.

Activity[]

On the first screen, the player can use arrow buttons to cycle through a series of line-art drawings and then they can click the Color button to begin coloring the currently selected picture.

The Coloring screen of this activity

The second screen features a palette of thirty-two colors (two columns of sixteen) along the left side. The tip of the paintbrush that the player controls will change color to match the color selected from the palette. When clicked, the paintbrush will act like the fill tool in the Painting activity, filling large contiguous areas of the pottery. However, unlike the typical fill tool, this brush may also fill adjacent areas of similar space depending on which pottery is being colored. After the player is satisfied with the coloring, they may click the Print button, which will open a print dialog for sending the colored image to an attached printer device.

Trivia[]

  • This activity seems to be a cross between the Painting activity and the Print and Play.
  • The default color when starting this activity is orange.
