Snow Leopards have a snow-white underbelly, pale tannish gray fur which is not available in the color palette, along with dark gray leopard spots and pure white eyes when first obtained. They also have rose-pink paw-pads, rose-pink noses, and rose-pink ear-insides. And like some other animals, have their own special color for their markings.

The Snow Leopard was initially released on November 29, 2012, as a promotional gift from the Snow Leopard Gift Card and returns annually during the Jamaalidays. It was most recently released on January 4, 2024, in the Diamond Shop and left on April 5, 2024.
It was released on January 2017, December 1, 2017, January 2018, December 1, 2018, January 2019, and January 2020, as a promotional gift.
AJHQ announced in the Jamaa Journal that they were originally obtained through Target-only Retail Gift Cards.
During a previous release, it was listed as endangered and removed on March 5, 2015.
Snow Leopards were put on sale in June 2016 for the second weekly Diamond Shop sale.
This animal is still able to be purchased by those who have obtained it as part of the Snow Leopard Bundle.
The default color for its pattern was originally lilac, but that changed sometime around October 2018 when the Spooky Snow Leopard was introduced.
Trivia[]
It is the third gift-card animal added into Animal Jam Classic.
Because of the Play Wild fund, where 40% of the money goes towards saving the real big cats, they were mistaken to be received by purchasing a wristband and not a gift card. The same was misunderstood with Lions.
When received by a gift card, the snow leopard will have a default name of simply, 'Snow Leopard'.
Along with some of the other diamond shop animals, (The Hyena and the Otter) there would be a rare purchasing glitch. The first couple of hours after they were added, players could buy them for 1,000 gems.
Along with the Arctic Wolf, they are the only animals that do not have "default eyes" that the other animals have.
Their artwork also lacks the eyes. It is the only artwork known so far not to have the same eyes as the rest of the animals.
