The Taiko Drum is a members-only den item. It was released as part of the Matsuri Festival Bundle, obtainable by purchasing a membership on the Animal Jam website during September 2019. It was later released in the Diamond Shop. It was released again on September 18, 2020, but left on April 5, 2021. It returned on September 10, 2021, but left on June 7, 2022.

The Taiko Drum is a light brown drum laying at an angle on two wooden stands made of planks. Two drumsticks are in the corner. This item comes in one variety.

The Taiko Drum was initially released on September 1, 2019, as a promotional gift from the Matsuri Festival Bundle. It was most recently released on September 10, 2021, in the Diamond Shop and left on June 7, 2022.
