1. What should the requirements be for creating general contests?
- Any type of contest where participants have to complete a challenge and the creator picks the best results to give rewards. The participants have to trust that the creator will fulfill their promise and actually reward prizes.
2. What should the requirements be for creating art contests?
- A contests that requires participants to create art of something as the challenge and the creator picks the best art to give rewards. The participants have to trust that the creator will not steal their art and will fulfill their promise and actually reward prizes.
3. What should the requirements be for creating commission requests?
- A request by the creator for participants to do some work like creating artwork for the creator in exchange for some listed payment. The participants have to trust that the creator will fulfill their promise to provide payment upon completion of the work.
Also, there seemed to be some confusion about contests and commission requests...
- Contests have multiple participants competing for some prize by completing some challenge.
- Contests are not the same as Giveaways. Giveaways are where participants can get free stuff without having to do anything special other than some minor thing to actually enter the giveaway.
- Contests are not the same as Auctions. Auctions are basically a "best offer wins" type of public trading.
- Commission Requests have someone requesting that the participants do some work for them (typically creating art) in exchange for some payment.
- Commission Requests are not the same as Commission Offers. Commission Offers have someone offering to do some work for others (typically creating art) in exchange for some payment (or sometimes for free).
