The cover shows a slanted view of dawn over a maze of green hedges. There are pink evergreen trees in the background shadowing a pink sky with light clouds.
Melody[]
The music overall has a very light tone and features a variety of instruments. The melody in the first section of the piece consists of staccato notes going up and down the scale and is played pizzicato, or plucked, by a violin. A woodwind instrument accentuates some of the staccato notes. Later, an oboe takes over the melody and it becomes more connected, while the violin plucks a more staccato countermelody. In the second section, the melody then shifts to a lower register as the oboe leaves and a cello plays staccato notes accompanied by the violin. Eventually, in the third section, the violin has the melody again, no longer playing pizzicato, and is later accompanied by a piano that gradually falls in pitch. At the very end, the piano and violin play some notes in unison before falling silent as the oboe holds out the very last note. Throughout the piece, some ambient wind and rustling noises can be heard faintly in the background.
